Burning Windows XP to a disc

this may sound stupid but i need to know on how to download a Windows XP Ghost and download it to a disc. Help please

Doesn't sound stupid at all, but before I answer, please clarify what you mean by Windows XP Ghost!

 

It sounds to me like Mista Shadow is asking for an image of someone's hard disk. If so, getting a copy of windows this way is illegal, and you shouldn't post here at Major Geeks. The site owners a liable for piracy, I believe.

If that's not it, I sincerely apologize, and we will need clarification.

 

Im not asking for a image of someones hard drive i got a computer from my friend and it doesn't work because it doesn't have Windows XP so i can't get on it and fix it up and i just need to know where to get a Windows XP program so i can do so

A ghost is Windows XP with a random Product key like it finds a product key that is not being used

 

Getting random keys for Windows XP is a piracy attempt. Since the keys arent registered with Microsoft, its like having Windows XP without paying for it.
