Bus Driver grabs Kid

Maybe some of you saw the news reports about the bus driver who grabbed a kid by the back of the neck when the kid cussed him out and took a swing at him. Here is the video......

The bus driver was wrong but this kid needs some serious talking to about behavior.

Yeah, those kids were punks. Its a shame that the bus driver didn't subdue them without violent force.

He will probably see some jail time for that.

 

Geez... even as bad as that kid was behaving, the driver has no business around children with a temper like that. I certainly wouldn't want a man that reacted with kids in that manner driving my children home from school.

 

The kid wont put his seatbelt on ask him off the bus,he wont get off call the deputy,let the deputy take the kid home,his parents will give him a smack,they probably wont,thats why the kid acts like that,he'll be in jail by the time he's 18,not being able to outwit a young kid though and resorting to violence,dumbass,he's bitter because he wasn't clever enough to drive a security van.

 

okay folks.. this is my one true area of expertise... i was a school bus driver for over 10 years (in a row even). the bus driver should have kept his seat and waited for the cops. he lost control of everything when he got up. he messed up because every driver knows if there is a camera onboard. if he didn't know.. it is there because there have been prior complaints. he will now face losing his job, probable charges and public humiliation. and on top of everything the school district will face charges of violating the privacy of every other child on the bus for showing their faces. (at least in Kansas it is that way) onboard tapes are private and can't be used for training even.

 

I watched video a few times this what I see,kids swearing and being cheeky,as usual,wont face front or wear seatbelt,driver uses the you better do what I say or else tactic"wrong" you cant do that with kids unless you have something to back it up with,his only trump card is call the deputy,he used it,and it didn't work,he should have used the lets be resonable and sit down or we cant get going tactic.

So he picks on the young kid at the back,tells him to come to the front,the kid knows he has called the deputy and is scared,of course he isnt coming to the front.

So the driver goes to get him,at this point I think the two kids are brothers,because the tall kid gets up to defend his younger brother,calls the driver,then the driver smacks him in the face and attacks him,the younger kid starts screaming the way a kid screams when one of his family is being attacked.

The point is those kids were scared to death,the driver was attacking them out of frustration,its rediculous if you think the driver was scared for his safety,he could have got off the bus,If a frustrated driver put his hands on my kid like that I dont care what the kid had said,Id lock him up myself.

 

Well, I gotta tell you. There is a generation gap for sure, because when I was growing up, you didn't say "f**k you" to adults and you for sure didn't call anyone "Mother F**ker", especially at school or at any adult that had anything to do with school. If you did, you can bet that the principal would be calling your parents in to have a little talk and then your parents would have a little talk to you when you got home.

Where I come from, you call someone "Mother F**ker", you better be ready to duck because that's about the worst insult you can use.

The bus driver was wrong, after he called for a deputy, he should just stayed in his seat until the deputy arrived. He could of had the kids escorted off the bus and asked for a report to made about what happened (with the language included) and had the report turned into the school.

We, on a whole, are losing touch with what it means to "have a little respect". The kids today don't seem to have any respect for any one or any thing, and I don't why that is. It's probably a combination of a lot of things, the things kids are exposed to today, parents are just too busy trying to stay above water, schools afraid of lawsuits..........

All I know for sure is, I don't like what I'm seeing.

 

There's an obvious disciplin problem in the way kids are brought up these days kids just dont care,should certain trusted people be allowed to use force and physical punishment to disciplin kids I think so,should adults be allowed to smack kids in the face because they dont like what they said,of course not,I believe thats what happened in the video.

Its obvious the parents of the children in the video had failed in thier duties as parents to teach them how to behave towards adults.

Its also obvious the bus company hasn't tought the driver how to act towards undisciplined children.He should have known better,but for the kids its the only way they know.
