business email address outlook

Hi guys and gals, is it possible to set up a email address from outlook with a different name. I would like to set up a email address example alex@bigapplesigns.co.uk. Or do I have to pay for a domian name? Thanks in advance to all your bright and wonderful IT brains.

Different from what, you current email address? And, you mean an address with a different domain after the @ symbol?

Referring to your example, do you have any affiliation or account with bigapplesigns.co.uk? Is bigapplesigns.co.uk an actual, existing domain name?

I believe the answer to your question, if I understand it, is that you'll need to pay for a domain to use with your email address unless the domain name exists and you have a relationship with it which would permit you to use it in an email address. Clearly, if you own a website with the domain name bigapplesigns.co.uk, then you can use an email address such as alex@bigapplesigns.co.uk.
