i had bought the computer game mvp baseball 2004 back in the spring. i installed it then and had no problems, but that was before i cleaned up my computer and downloaded/installed alot of the spyware adware software.
i now went to install my game mvp baseball 2004 again, but my EZ Firewall alerted me asking me if i wanted to allow cleanup to access other programs? i clicked no and the screen goes away.
in the alert screen that pops up it says..
    Action: OpenProcess
    Application: ~e5d141.tmp
    Version: 1, 0, 0, 1
    Target: mvp2004.exe

even after i click no, cleanup.exe still goes into my programs secured for internet access section on my EZ Firewall program list.
my Spyare Doctor runs everytime my computer starts and it notified me of a spware program C-Dilla. i quarantine and remove this.
i then was trying to start up my mvp baseball 2004, but after clicking it, it asked me again if i wanted to allow cleanup access other programs.
i again clicked no, and it went through the whole process again, of going into my programs secured for internet access, and then when doing spyware Doctor check informing me i have C-Dilla yet again

i went to http://www.macrovision.com/products...dilla_faq.shtml and they say C-Dilla, SafeCast, is not spyware.. yet alot of people say that it is.
if it is indeed spyware and i remove it and leave it removed, then my game doesnt work?
so in order for me to work my game, i need to have this SafeCast,C-Dilla programs to be there?

i was told that with spyware on my computer that my personal information can be sent out without me knowing,. but i dont have any personal information online. i dont do any shopping or banking or anything like that where i have to enter any information. i dont download music or anything from any of the p2p file sharing things. i dont have a CD burner where im burning or copying anything. even sites ive signed up for like this one i dont put my last name, and sometimes dont even put my real first name ..so can they still get other usefull information?

with all the games out there, havnt people had this problem before? and do they continue to play their game with the C-Dilla spyware? i guess there isnt a way to remove this and still play the game?

i imagine one solution would be to uninstall mvp baseball 2004 and not install it again, but i spent $50plus on this game and would like to play it.. are there any other options?

so you can't install the game? or are you having problems running it?
if its the copy protection giving you a problem you can download a new .exe file with the protection removed
i will not post where to get these files but i believe that if you own the game you should be able to play and use it without the cd in the drive.
