C: Partition losing HD Space. All scans ran.

Hi everyone. I'm new to MajorGeeks and what I've seen and done in the past two days on my own from the guides have been extremely helpful.

Unfortunately, what I originally came for is still a problem. One of my harddrives is partitioned into three sections, C: for WinXP SP3, E: for Programs, and F: for CD Images. I reserved C: for around 20gb and starting a few months back (didn't catch whatever it was to do system restore), I realized my C: drive space was slowly being lost if I leave the computer on. I scanned for large log files, and did all the scans suggested here (see attached logs), and the space is still being lost at around 100mb each hour. I get the space back everytime I restart, so If I had 6.64gb free at a new restart, 24 hours later I'd be down to about 4.2gb, and in a few days down to zero, then of course the whole system gets paralyzed.

Please check my logs, and see if there's anything software-related that's causing the issue, or offer other suggestions. It could be hardware, but the other two partitions, (~120gb on E: and ~20gb on F:) aren't losing their space though.

I just tried to repost this in malware removal forum, initially it was in software, and someone requested me to move this to malware removal. I realized I couldn't attach the same files again, and I posted a thread without logs and was just wondering what to do with it, and viola my old thread was transfered to malware removal. Thanks to whoever did that :cool

Hopefully I'll get some advice here. Thanks in advance.

This is not a malware issue.

I suspect it is an issue with the way you partitioned and that you have the OS on one partition (Fat32) and the program files on a second partition (NTFS). I would suggest removing the second partition so your program files are on the same partition as well as the same file format.

We just need to clean up from the scans:
