C++ Runtime Error

When ever I try and run Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, I get this Error

An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Also around the same time my DvD burner went ccrazy one me.
I tried downloading the C++ Runtime Redistributable from Microsoft's website and it did nothing, should I try reinstalling Windows?

Your error is mentioned specifically in post #38, but you should probably familiarize yourslef with the entire thread as I'm pretty sure you'll find a fix in there. There is another thread here at MajorGeeks somewhere that is similar to this, where the person was having VisualC++ problems too, but I can't seem to find it.... I'll keep lokking and if I find it, I'll provide the link. You may need to register to access the DarkCrusade forums...
