I have a Linksys cable modem model BEFCMU10. well tonight i've been having some issues where on the cable modem under Link/Act the green light has been blinking non stop tonight which probably means high activity,by this its causing a major slow down or not even working at times with my internet. I went to control panel and under the internet/network connections and from there on and I've noticed my IP Address is different where it says 209.254.129.167 Default Gateway209.254.129.1 DNS servers 209.253.113.18 209.253.113.10
209.253.113.2 where my original IP Address and server..though I don't remember all the numbers right off the bat but i know it started with 192 or 197 or something like that which I don't remember sorry..So now i'm wondering whats wrong here, thanks for any help.

Check your cables it sounds like your hooked back to the cable modem instead of the linksys.
