I recently tried to delete a folder of mine and it would not allow me because it says it can't find the cajqa1bj file. When I open the folder it is empty. However the properties tells me that there is 6.00k in there.

I ran a search on my computer for that name and it came up with :

search?hl=en&q=cajqa1bj in folder c:\documents and settings\My name\Local settings\Temporary Internet Files.

Everything else on my compouter works fine. Ran Spybot but found nothing. Did a Norton Virus scan and also nothing.

please help.

HELP!!!

Let me re-iterate my problem.

I want to delete a folder in my documents. When I attempt to delete it, it tells me I can't because it can't find file 'cajqa1bj' And, as they say, it really isn't there if I attempt to open the folder.

However...When checking the properties of that particular folder, it tells me there is 6.00 k worth of information in it. How can this be? The folder has nothing in it.

I am convinced that it is some sort of worm.

First of all thank you. Reading that stuff got me further along, yet did not get me out of my problem yet.

The very first step of showing all of the hidden files revealed that files that are hidden in the folder I want to delete.

There are actually four files. Their names are: cajqa1bj cakfrbi4 casfbjqo
car0pmn

On the icon that I see they all say 'file' as the type and they are 0 kb. If I attempt to erase them I get a message that says "Can not delete file: Can not read from the source file or disk" and will not erase.

I followed all of the scanning procedures and came up with nothing. Other than the fact that I can't delete the folder everything is running fine. But I truly don't want that folder there and I hope it is not connected to a deeper issue.

Is there anything to do to erase them? I would be very happy.
