20 to 29 all end in 18
30 to 39 all end in 27

yadda yadda yadda ... all multiples of 9, and all have the same icon.

9 is called the universal number. The digits of any of its multiples will add up to 9. Higher numbers may have to have their digits added more than once, but it always boils down to 9.
9 * 50 = 450 (4 + 5 + 0 = 9)
9 * 66 = 594 (5 + 9 + 4 = 18, 1 + 8 = 9)

The game is rigged, if you do the math right it will work, everytime.

To keep it from being obvious though, they change the chart off the side everytime you start a new one.

 

Yup. Any multiple of 9 will have the same symbol!
