Calling all animal lovers......

I have a temp working for me right now, and she came in today with a little story to share, that I thought I would share with you guys and ask for your support.

Her neighbor's dog is being entered in the Circuit City's Firedog dog competition. The winner will become the Circuit City dog for the nation. Now, no matter what you think of Firedog, this is wholesome fun, and you can have a part to play in it!

Her Boston Terrior, Spanky, is one of the 20 finalists out of 6,000 applicants, and he needs your vote NOW to become the winner! The voting closes on January 26, so hurry. If he wins the local Humane Society here in Eugene will receive $50,000 plus an additional $1 per vote received for Spanky, up to a total of $150,000. It is worth noting that Spanky just survived vascular heart surgery! What a fighter huh!

So please, if you have a few spare clicks today, go to the link and vote for Spanky. He is photo number 12, taken on Seal Beach, Oregon. After you vote you will get a return email that you will need to click on to validate your vote. (Keep an eye on your spam folder for the confirming email.
