    HI
i hv this computer in my new lab, which people say doesnt work fr past 2-3 months.
Whenever i turn this computer on, it displays me RAM, processor etc information.
But after 4 seconds, the CPU shuts off, and the monitor displays message that there is no input signal.
Is the hard drive dead, or the processor, i cannot understand.
    Thanks
    Pal

No input signal means a dead video card, monitor or connection. Verify theres a video card in it and that it is plugged in properly to the monitor. Swapping video card and monitor (and cable) one at a time can elimiate which is bad, if any. If they are all good, there are just a ton of possibilities from there, motherboard, ram, etc. You could try safe mode to see if it boots, but I am guessing we have a hardware issue here.

That COULD mean the computer has powered off!! I'm assuming that what you explained is exactly EVERYTHING that it is doing right up to the point of it displying the no signal message!!??

Could be that there is a piece of hardware not connected properly, the power supply is bad, or bad memory, or a number of differnet things!!

Usually if the hard drive is bad, it will say "Invalid systems disk" or "No Operating System found" or it might use "OS" for operating system in the last error message I just stated!!

Do you know by chance what exactly it was doing when it initially started acting up??

i was working on it again, and found that when i tilt the tower, the computer starts and windows boot, and till the point im moving my tower, my computer works, and as soon, as i still the tower, it turns off.
video card is fine as im able to see
hard disk is fine as it is able to boot my windows
also, i tried changing the power cable, but the problem continues

Loose connection, unplug everything and plug it back in,if that doesn't work take the pc apart and put it back together,if you care about finding the specific part test the pc after every part you reseat
