Can someone tell me where i can get a good peer 2 peer file sharing program at and can you list some names for them .

I agree... P2P programs present a significant security risk if you're not VERY well educated and experienced in dealing with malware. You have to configure the P2P program and your computer properly to MINIMIZE (not eliminate, by far) the risks of infecting your system. However, you didn't ask if it was wise to use them or not (fair warning given anyway), so in answer to your question, I'd say a "good" P2P program is Frostwire (www.frostwire.com).

A FEW recommendations, should you choose to use a P2P program:

NEVER download any executable or compressed files (i.e. .exe, .msi, .zip, .rar, .7z, etc.)

ALWAYS scan every file you download before opening it (including music and video files).

Use P2P on a NON-admin Windows account (use a "Limited User" account if you're using Windows XP, or "Standard User" account in Windows Vista).

Ensure you have the minimal security for your computer already configured (i.e. firewall, antispyware, and antivirus programs with real-time protection).

Download the files to an external drive -- NOT the hard drive your system (i.e. Windows) uses. Even if you save the files on a different partition than the system partition (on the same physical drive), you're still at a high security risk.
