Can anyone help me? slow computer with fast internet?

Hello everyone.

i would like to ask if i can use a slow computer with a fast internet or fast computer with a slow internet?

example.

pentium 4 2.30ghz 1gb ram using a 8mb , 12mb or 16mb internet (can the slow computer handle the fast internet?)
or
Intel i7 3ghz 6gb ram using a 512kb or 1mb internet.. (can the fast computer handle the very slow internet?) or any issue?

is it okay if i use like that?

would there be a compatibility issue?

please explain.

If one has a very fast internet connection but a older slower pc with less memory than you may not be able to realize the full benefits of the fast connection. The opposite is true screamin' fast PC with really slow connection you won't get the full benefits of the fast PC as far as the online experience goes. However, there won't be compatibility issues it's just a matter of where the bottleneck or slowdown will occur. Neither issue will be a big deal for regular surfing or checking email.
