Can anyone help me with Yahoo email problems?

My Yahoo account was hacked into the same time as my eBay account (dumb me - same password). Now they say I need to give them my alternate email address to get it back. I've given them all the addresses I can think of, but they won't accept any of them. I actually think the hacker went in and put in a new alternate address.

I would like to know if there is any way to talk to someone at the Executive Department at Yahoo. I've spoken with customer Service - they offer no help. Their Security Department is only reachable through email, and they don't reply if they don't want to. When they do, it's always a form letter saying that they have been unable to match the alternate email address. I feel that they don't even read my email - they just automatically send a reply. If someone can help me reach a different department, perhaps I can get some real help. This is a terrible company when it comes to customer relations.

    Thanks.

If the compromised account was the premium (paid versions) of either Yahoo! Personal Email or Yahoo! Business Email account you should be able to contact Yahoo and get some help.

You might also try this Yahoo! website link: Sorry That You're Having Trouble Signing In

However, if this was the "free" Yahoo account and you either: (1) cannot remember the "security question" or (2) someone else has hacked into your account and then altered the security question and/or personal information, you unfortunately have no recourse. Your account is gone and there's nothing they will do to help you. The only thing you can do is get a new account and move on with your life.

As far as I know, all "free" email services policies regarding either lost passwords and/or altered account information are the basically exactly the same regarding this. The reason they offer no recourse is because if they offered to help every single person out there person who claimed that their account was "hacked into" that is just about all they would be doing 365/24/7 and they would be out of business in no time flat.

    Good Luck!
