My application is making its' way around the world (COOL! :)) and I came across this site in my stats, but...erm.. I have no idea what they are saying. I saw a thumbs down in a post and I want to make sure it wasn't something with my program.

    Thanks!

Using online translation it looks like the questioner is asking how do I know if .net is installed. But the guy who sugested linksync doesnt reply.Thumbs down is to the sugestion to some app called sync back which the other guy says is great. The user says opera uses .adr files never mind.

I see .. I can't compete with that. I don't have the resources. But I have other ideas that I am working on. :)

    Well.... I wonder.

If you were to load all bookmarks and syncronise them so all browsers shared the same bookmark list, then make a XML document with those bookmarks, you could have the facility to upload that XML file to a FTP site (of the users own choosing), which potentially they could load from other computers/other platforms.

I don't know, if you fancied playing with socket connections or whatever .NET is good at for connecting to FTP/HTTP servers, might be an idea :) (plus, if you did make that XML export file, I could write a PHP script to read it/query it which could be quite cool :D)

@ Kodo...many mainland Europeans speak excellent English. Maybe if you were to post that you do not understand and ask if they could re-post in English or someone on the Norwegian forum could translate, I'm sure someone would oblige :) HTH

    Post 1:
Noen anbefalinger?

I need a program that syncronizes the bookmarks between O and Ff
    Any recom.?

    2:
    Skulle jeg også hatt.
(Må skrive her for å huske på tråden;))

    I need that too.
(have to write here to remember the thread)

3:Hva mener du med å "synkronisere"?

What do you mean by sync?

That I add the same bookmark in both O and Ff, f.ex if I add one in O it will automaticly be in Ff.
    Get it?

Null problem.

If O doesnt use a spec. file type for it's bmarks, then you can just use SyncBack.
    Very easy and good.
    No problem.

I'll try SyncBack if it works with O
    ____________________________________

You just set the folder where the bmarks are stored to be synced in SyncBack

Looks like O uses .adr files for Bmarks, and that won't work.
any other progz that sync between O and Ff?

    9:prøv Sync2It.
    Try Sync2it

    10:Skal prøve det. Takk
    I will, thanks

I tried it but only works between Ff and IE, they claim on their website that it works with O too but...... any settings that needs to be adjusted?

    Se her.

No settings for this, looks like the current version is not compatible with O's last versjon.
    look here.

13:Aha, så det er sånn det er. Tenkte meg vel nesten det.

Ah, that's how it is, almost thought so.

Rough Translation by Xavier ;)

    this means

its looks like opera uses.adr files to bookmark and then it doesnt work.

are there any other programs that syncronize bookmarkers between opera and firefox?
