can anyone pls help me remove Rootkit.Win32.Agent.l ?

my computer's been acting up lately. sometimes when i'm using it, it just switches to a blue screen with lots of writings, but i could always see that a part says "beginning... physical dump of memory". then the computer restarts by itself.

i have no idea what causes it, but when i did a virus check, a "Rootkit.Win32.Agent.l" popped up and my eScanWin said that "THE VIRUS COULD NOT BE REMOVED".

can anyone help me in removing this virus? what exactly does it do to my computer?

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.


After doing ALL of the above and you still have a problem, make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps below:
