Can connect to internet but not my server - no emails!

Hi there
Please can you help with some advice? I can connect to the internet ok with my wired connection but have been able to connect to my 1&1.co.uk server only once since yesterday. I know very little about PCs - just usually switch on and away it goes - so you'll need to guide me through any techie things like pinging and IP addresses. Sorry. The OE error message tells me to check spellings etc, which I've done. Many thanks in advance. Sue x

 

Have you contacted the company that manages your e-mail yet? That's where I would start first.

 

I contacted 1&1, and everything's working fine now. Thanks for being there.

Sue -Mari ii had that happen , and got rid of sandboxie plus a system restore, it worked , i am not an xpert but it worked. Best Ninpo

 

The problem keeps coming back. Apparently it's something to do with talktalk not recognising 1&1. Must be affecting a few thousand folk so I guess talktalk's getting its ear bent and hopefully will fix it soon.
