I'd like to change my cursor to a solid Block black blinking cursor, like in the olde MS-DOS days. I've checked out the range of cursors available in XP Pro SP3 but no joy.

I'd like it to appear in all programs. Is this possible? I've googled a lot but haven't found anything so far, so would appreciate any help.

Hi BigB! The easiest way would be to just make the vertical line thicker (if this is the cursor your referring to). Go to the Control Panel > Accessibility Options > Display and the slider on the bottom is for cursor width; you can make the cursor pretty freekin' fat by dragging the slider all the way to the right.....

    I hope that's what you're lookin' for!
