Can i control my Modem with a bat fill or soma code

Hi all, I have a home automation system all setup on my Dell Dimension 9100, with <snipped link>Cinemars Mainlobby software to control it on a touch screen, and it all works great except one thing.

Mainlobby have a plug-in that lets you control your PC's Modem so you can have caller display and dial numbers. I use it to control my door intercom as the intercom uses my home phone. So if someone rings the door the phone will ring with a slightly different ring so i know its the door. I just pick up and talk and if i want to let them in i just press 0 and it opens the door. So i've plugged my phone line into the modem on the PC, and through Mainlobby and there phone plug-in i can control it all on my touch screen. But and its a big but, i can hear them but they cannot hear me. If i pick up the home phone i can, if i use any other software on the PC i can (Classic PhoneTools, PhoneWorks 2004) i just cant with Mainlobby.

So, would anyone know if i could right a bat. file that could send a command and open the Mic, or would anyone know how to write some code that i can execute and open the modems Mic. The modem im using is a Conexant D850 56K Voice Fax Modem. Any help would be really great.
