can i delete a windows? and other things

    If i install win 7 without formating, on a partition where is a boot file from a xp, is ok? or xp ill be broken? i have now dual boot 2 windows xp

    and later on, to save space, if i delete the windows xp folder the other xp (i have 2 xp) and win 7 ill start?

    Hi,

    Can you explain your HD partitions a bit more clearly. Are the two XP installations on two different partitions? If they are on different partitions then installing Win7 on one of the partitions should be OK.
    Which boot file are you talking about?

    I think it would be very difficult to install Win7 on the same partition that you have XP installed on. I have found only one guide but it is a very unusual case so I don't think I would recommend it. http://windows7forums.com/tweaks-guides-howto/25440-dual-boot-xp-7-same-partition.html
