Can I install Windows XP Professional on top of XP Home?

    Hello i am new to all this computer stuff.i have an old computer that has windows98 in it.Is there anyway i can install windowsxp/2000/me for free?

    Hi Kellyann

    Sadly there is no way you can upgrade your Win98 PC to ME/W2K or XP for free you would have to buy either an upgrade version or full retail version of those products.

    But warning would be if your PC is too old then going to the likes of XP may not work as the hardware maybe too old to have compatible drivers, the spec of the PC also maybe too slow to make XP run good enough for you, it needs a decent CPU (Processor) and at least 512mb to 1GB or ram (1GB is prefereble)
