Can I put a desktop video card in my laptop?

    I bought a video card (geforce mx 4000 pci) in my windows Me desktop presario (presario 5009sr) pc can i just put it in my new laptop (dell inpirion 6000)? What kind of cards are avialable for laptops is there a deffrence other than pci, agp or pci express? Are desktops and laptops cards interchageable?:confused: I think i have a pci express dont know.:rolleyes: thanks for any hellp to this confused boy.:)

    No. Laptop video cards are usually integrated with the motherboard and are not upgradeable. There are a few laptop companies that have some laptops with upgradeable video, but Dell is not one of them.

    P.S. - If your laptop is fairly new, the video card may be better than the geforce 4 MX 4000 anyway.
