I am already getting help on another thread, but PP said he wont probably be able to get back to me until tomorrow or Sat & I am supposed to run HiJack this in normal mode. I currently have system restore off...

My GREAT concern (I am freaking out, lol) is that any work I have completed in Simply Accounting will not be saved..Is this the case??

    Thanks in advance,

    Amanda

PS: I know I should continue on same thread, but I need to reboot to post the Hijack log for PP....

I'm not familiar with the program, you should have the option to "Save" or make a backup.

Simply Accounting is an accounting program...I have many many different companies financial info in seperate files...

I dont know how to B/up the whole program, just each companies file, do you think I should do that first?

Thanks Bj, I really appreciate it....

To be on the safe side, yes I would personally backup anything I wouldnt want to lose. I do a full system backup once a week because I dont like taking chances with my data.

There are many ways to do backups, personally I just backup each personal folder, documents and any media I may have to DVD-RW disk. Every few months I will make an image of my partition just to be safe, however doing this requires special software.

It's best to keep a backup of important files such as documents, pictures, etc; because you never know when something may go wrong and you lose your data.
