Can I remove America-Online TopSpeed?

I am trying to clean up unnecessary programs and I am down to one that just does not want to come off my computer. I have uninstalled all Aol programs using the windows uninstaller, and have run CCleaner, Malewarebytes, Super Anti Spyware, Rovo Uninstaller, and RegCleaner. After rebooting, America-Online TopSpeed shows up agian in the software tab of RegCleaner, and the Windows Task Manager Processes list shows aoltpspd.exe, aoltsmon.exe, and AOLacsd.exe. I have not used AOL for many years and do not want any trace of it on my pc. Is there some way to remove the rest of it? Let me know if there is any specific reports that may help.

Sounds as if there are some associated Services running with those progs. Type services.msc in the Run box to pull up the Services list. See if any are named AOL, etc...or something related to the file names shown running in TM. Stop those services and disable them then remove the files in TM and reboot.

There are ways to delete the AOL services, too, but if they're not being loaded they aren't hurting anything...You'd probably have to search through registry keys for the name of the file(s) that starts the service(s), then delete those keys, then find the file(s) on the drive and delete it/them.

AOL may have a cleaner that does all the above if you look around on the net.

yes you can i would Recommend IOBIT uninstaller if you do a power full scan it will all so delete the Reg as well from the program i use it all the time and works well.Watch the major geek video.
