I was wondering if I could upgrade my laptop in the near future simply by removing the Celeron M processor and replacing it with a Pentium M processor. Can this be done? It is a Dell Inspiron 1300 Celeron M at the moment. thanks

Check out Intel link, it might help.

Otherwise, maybe go direct to Intel, either website FAQ's, their "contact us" link, or ring them. Bazza

I thought it would not be that easy. The Celeron is grand for the time being, I suppose. thanks
