I am not 100% sure if this belongs here or software but I am 100% sure if it is in the wrong one...Y'all will fix it for me rolleyes and ty for that.

I am trying to run Minecraft on my PC and it keeps telling me that my drivers for my Intel processor need to be updated but Intel says they are not supporting my processor in windows 10. Can I update my processor or do I have to go back to Windows 7? I am really not wanting to go back to Windows 7 but I don't know what else to do. Any ideas?

Oh Yeahhh!!! Now can you tell me which one would be the better one for me to get and what does that mean as far as my dual core goes?

Choose one of the Intel Core 2 Quad CPUs - preferably with FSB 1333 MHz.
The Intel Core 2 Extreme is aimed at gamers but might cost a lot more, and it uses more power.

Does the power usage matter on a desktop?

  6. Eldon

    Eldon Major Geek Extraordinaire

Whether the power usage matters depends on the power output of the PSU and the power requirements of all devices. The difference in thermal design power between the Intel Core 2 Quad and Extreme is just 35 Watt. To me the real issue is price. Is the performance gain worth the higher price?
