    Hello,

I'm trying to run the online scans (Panda, Housecall, etc.), but none of the activex objects will install. Even the games on MSN's site will not load. I've checked and changed all the internet explorer / internet options settings to default or lower but nothing has changed. I have a feeling that this problem may possibly be due to already removed spyware / viruses. (For example, I had to remove group-policy-like registry entries to get the restore tab to be visible and functional in sytem properties.) I can not find anything on the net regarding registry entries that would override the security settings seen in the internet options / security tab. Thought I might turn to the only guys / gals out there that might be able to help. The system has Win XP Home SP2 and running IE 6 SP2. The system is standalone and is not part of a domain or network of any kind.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Troy
