Can Someone Help Me Pick A Good Wired Network Card From This List?

I just got an old ASUS TUV4X motherboard for cheap.

It has no port to connect an ethernet patch cord to go on the net. So I was told I need to buy a wired network card. I wanted to get one from this reliable store that is very close to me. Can someone help me pick a good one from the list on this link that would be reliable enough for constant internet usage, and last years. It's for home use, but I use the internet almost all day long every single day. I don't want to get anything that's going to screw with me and not work, or load pages with errors, etc. I'm constantly receiving very important crucial data. I have no idea what the features mean on most of the one's on this list. Click each of the few products and you'll see all the specs. & hey if the cheapest one is good enough let me know! Because I have no idea if those extra features on some are important or not.

If you are just going to use it to connect a single pc to a router don't waste your money on a 'gigabit' link, as the expensive ones on your list are. The PC will be on the scrapheap long before the internet is fast enough to use these, if ever.

I don't see Netgear on your list, I always recommend these. Otherwise go for a 3Com or Cisco product over the makes shown.

Go for a 100Mbit card - you will actually only get a 10/100 these days, but they set the speed automatically.

 

I use the D-Link 530G Gigabit ... haven't had an issue with it yet ...

 

Agreed with the above, get the Belkin for $9, you don't need anything more.
