can u plz help me!!

    hi guys, i have a big problem i have firefox and i mistakenly download a virus.. but i got rid of the virus :) but the sad part is the now i get pop ups and i have done eveything and now im askin u... here is my hijack logs

    Welcome to MajorGeeks!:)

    A little patience please! 3 posts in 14 minutes won't get you assistance any quicker. Posts are answered oldest to newest. Please complete the below steps.

    NOTE: Please be sure to follow the directions for correctly installing HJT. You currently have it here: C:\Documents and Settings\Thaha\Desktop\HijackThis.exe which is where we ask you not to run it from.

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis


    When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
    • Bitdefender
    • Panda Scan
    • HijackThis​

    Also in additon to what AbbySue gave you, I have a question!

    Are you editing or filtering your HijackThis log? There are obvious 04 startup items missing. Like things that should be loading for your antivirus application to work properly. Maybe others too.

    no my i never edited my log....
    and here is my log after i run ccleaner and i releady did the seach and destroy program and the adaware...

    You need to follow all the directions in the what AbbySue posted. We do not need another HJT log until all the steps have been completed. And you still have not installed HJT properly. Please follow the directions in message # 4.

    Also note that many versions of Bearshare contain malware!

    yea but the bearshare is not the problem i had it like 4 6 months and the pops up started like 3 weeks ago..

    Your HJT log says different. You completely skipped step 6..what else did you skip? Please go back and complete the online scans and attach the scan results as instructed. We can't help you unless you do your part to help yourself first.

    Well from what I see, besides step 6:
    - MS Windows Defender not run
    - Spybot S&D does not appear to have been installed and run. At least not how requested.
    - step 7 was not followed because HJT is installed exactly where we ask that it not be installed.


    And yes you are going to keep having popups until you complete all of our instructions and then we can continue on to some additional fixes that you will need to perform to finish resolving your problems.
