I just got an AT&T USBConnect Mercury by Sierra Wireless for use on my pc and laptop. I am way out in the boonies and couldn't get satalite or broadband so had to go with the USBConnect from AT&T.

My signal is weak, only getting 2 and sometimes 3 bars making things very slow. Is there anything I can do saftely do to improve signal. I get 5 bars on my cell in same room as laptop or pc. Also this room is the best room in the apartment for anykind of a signal for pc and laptop, cell works all over the place inside and out. Not sure if this is important but I live in an old airplane hanger in the middle of a cow pasture, so building is all metal.

Your advise will be greatly appreicated. Thank You.....SKayCD :)

Perhaps a moderator would be kind enough to move this post to the "Networking" portion of MajorGeeks. Or, you could post it yourself. Remember to give all needed info.
