Can you arrange files by DATE?

Dear Anyone.

OK, so I've done a dumbass and forgotten what I've named the file I want to use. I remember WHEN I last worked on it, but it's a wordprocessor file, I've got a zillion of them and I can't for the life of me remember what this one's called.

Is it possible to arrange files by DATE after doing a search for all with the appropriate extension? I know the date's in there because if you point to one with the mouse it tells you date last modified. But for future reference, to not have to point to every one of loads of files, can I arrange them from most recently edited on downwards? Date isn't given as an option, that I can see, in the 'Arrange Files By....' options in the right-click.

If you put the folder into "details" view then you should be able to sort by date by clicking on the date column.
