Not sure this is a a hardware Q, but I want to place Vista on an SD card and use this as the only drive in 2.0 GHz+ computer. No card no o/s. So is this possible? I am thinking that BIOS will not recognise a flash drive and I cant think of a way around this? any thoughts?

I'm not sure if a SD card can do it but a Compact Flash can by using an IDE adapter. Also I think you can boot from USB Jump Drives on some computers.

This is a great bit of advice. Solves a whole host of problems. Great call, thanks!
