   Anyone know if you can create or edit dll files in visual studio?? If not, are there any freeware programs to do this????

   A dll file is a compiled program extension, and you can't edit a compiled dll just like you cannot edit a compiled exe. You can create an activex dll in visual studio by starting a new project and selecting dll as the project type when it asks you what type of project you want to open.
