Cannon ip1500 printer

    Need to reset waste ink code.

    down loaded a tool for ip1200, ip1600, ip2200 and up2400.

    this tool would not reset code.

    Cannon will not give out the tool; want me to take to a service center to reset it.
    not very user frendly.

    any help out ther? joe

    Not tried it as I dont have canon printer but this page has listed the ip1500 tool http://www.printersiam.com/data/DOWNLOAD.HTM ( I did download and scan it zip file for virii, didnt find any, but I would advise scanning with your antivirus before opening )

    found by reading more you have to do a manuel reset (info on page) then the software reset.

    very happy; thanks a bunch. BIG JOE
