I'm going through my neighbor's wireless (by permission) to access the internet. When I open a browser and type the url into the address bar, I get "Oops! The page cannot be found". That happens with any url that I type in. But if I click on a shortcut that I have on my desktop, it opens right up. I even tried majorgeeks.com in the address bar and got the error message. But through the desktop shortcut, here I am. What do you think?

    Greetings, Tonyrush...

Need to know your browser and operating system version/Service Pack #.

Have you tried an alternate browser? Have you tried your default browser with no add-ons?

    Good morning...

Would still like to know your browser version and operating system version/Service Pack #.

    And:
To clarify: what did you try - an alternate browser, or IE with no add-ons, or both?
