Thanx in advance for the 411.

I just installed a new wireless router (Belkin f5d7230-4) to my desktop which seems to be working properly, I am on it now, (wired). I am now trying to connect to it with my laptop with a Dlink wireless card.

I directed the Dlink on the laptop to find the Belkin router and the Dlink shows a good signal ( 98 % ) strength. However, When I start Mozilla or Explorer, neither will browse the internet.

    What am I missing here?

I take it you ran the Network setup on both PC's, and that they are the same OS?

The desktop "base-unit" is running 98SE. The LPT/wireless is running W2K.

This is the first time I've tried to network anything, so I don't know all the setup obviously. The Belkin online help site was very cute but very useless to me so I came back to the old reliable Major Geeks.

    Thanx for the reply.
