Cannot defrag MFT on WinMCE05

Thank you for taking your time to read my help request.

After formatting my Dell Inspiron 9400 and reinstalling drivers and windowsupdates, I noticed that Windows Defragmenter listed my MFT as being fragmented:

MFT Size: 23MB
MFT Entries: 23,606
MFT Fill: 99%
MFT total fragments: 2

Running Windows Defragmenter, Diskeeper 2008 Pro and O&O Defrag Pro either with Windows running or before boot did not resolve this issue.
Diskeeper would tell me during boot defrag that the MFT is already defragmented and O&O would simply list it in its defrag report as part of its inaccessible files (i.e. did not defrag).

Is there any other way of defragmenting my MFT or is this some hardware problem possibly?

P.S.: The only things I have installed are drivers, windowsupdates, Diskeeper and O&O (both trial versions)
