    Hello all,

I just installed windows on my new SSD drive. I had a lot of files on my old drive with my old Windows 7 installation so I did not format the old drive. Now that I have Windows 7 up and running again on my SSD I'd like to delete the "Program Files, Program Files (x64), and Windows" folders from my old drive.

I've tried taking ownership of the folders, but Windows keeps telling me that I need permission.

"You need permission to perform this action

You require permission from TrustedInstaller to make changes to this folder"

Every time I change ownership replace TrustedInstaller with whatever I change it to. Even after all that, I still get the same message.

    New: Windows 7 64
    Old: Windows 7 64

    Intel C2D 4300
    Asus Motherboard
    4GB Ram
    ATI 5xxx 512MB Graphics
    60GB OCZ Agility SSD
    750GB WD Hard Drive

I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks! :wave

Woot, never mind. I solved my problem :D There was a checkbox deep in the security and permission settings that I had to have checked.
