When I try to download an .exe file it starts to download OK but then I get an error message saying "unable to create a temporary file" or "error extracting file to the temporary location"

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium.

    Any suggestions?

Is your Temp folder extremely full? If so, empty it, restart Windows, then try again.

Have a look at the Temp folder located at C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Temp
If that folder is empty, then it's possibly a permissions issue with that folder.
