Cannot Install Program Updates

Am trying to use “Software Informer”. It says I have 32 programs on my computer and 21 need updating. All I have to do is click the green arrow. So times it works, most of the time it doesn’t. I’ve gone to the Add and Remove page and most of the time it works. I’ve gone to Google and most of the time it works. I had the same problem with File Hippo.com software. I don’t have this problem with Windows update on my start water fall menu. I believe there is something keeping (some) software from installing and seeding.

If any body cane helps it would be greatly appreciated.

My paid version of Malwarebytes prevents me from getting to the Software Informer website; this tells me that program is not one you should be using.

I use Secunia Personal Inspector. You can either scan the computer at the Secunia website or download a program to scan your computer. Since Secunia is a company that informs the public about vulnerabilities in quite a few well know companies, it is a legitimate place to find out what needs updating.
