Cannot install Software

Hi all,

I am having a problem installing Ulead CD DVD as well as any program ( roxio MyDVD).

Sometimes it lets me download completely but wont install. Other times even the download freezes but in task manager it doesnt come up as "not responding" it just hangs and the percentage says file download instead of ie. 54%.

I have also tried firefox but it wont install either.

I did get it to install once but the program wouldn't open?

I also tried going into program files and double clicking on the setup.exe file for ulead but it doesn't do anything however if I click on the othe exe for the dvd creator program the dvd creator opens? What can I do to fix this prob??? Thanks for your help.
