cannot log on to secure sites nor msn

i cant log onto an webmail but i can browse internet. i also cannot do an update when i dled spybot search and destroy. when i try to go to gmail or mail.yahoo.com i get the msg that u get when u do not have internet and open a web page. i think i cant log onto secure networks and my norton has this when i try to open it: Symantec Integrator has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. please help me.
