I am trying to open a msg/file sent me in my email.
I cannot, and get an error "file cannot be previewed because there is no previewer installed for it"
File is AVIDCDD6972.PDF, and is from my vet about a dog

A PDF document will open in a PDF viewer such as either Adobe Acrobat Reader or a similar program. If you have such a program on your system it will open in that, either directly from your mail inbox, or if you save the file to your desktop then right click and choose 'open with...'.

I tried to download Adobe Acrobatic Reader, as that is not loaded on my computer. The download process will not load, and terminates the attempt.
When Adobe Flash updated, I tried unsuccessfully to download that. I seem to recall you folks offering suggestions, but to no avail. As I am able to use the replaced older version, I gave up on the Flash update download.
I sense the same something is blocking the Flash update and Acrobatic Reader downloads. Regretfully I have no idea as to what is causing the problem.
    Thanks

If a download is blocked, there should be a dialogue box indicating why.
Have you tried the download(s) with different browsers?

Ok I'll repeat it in this thread again as I did in your old thread. Adobe Flash Player has nothing whatsoever to do with Adobe Acrobat Reader in any sense.
If for some reason you can't get Adobe Reader to install, then simply install Foxit Reader. All you need is a PDF reader and there are plenty to choose from.

Just to point out as well. Depends on what browser you are using some of them can open pdf directly in the browser itself. (Chrome and Edge) I know so far they can but not tried others.

If you are constantly unable to download anything, something is wrong with either your user account or your security programs are set too high.

Make sure the account you are using is not a limited user account.
    What security programs are installed?

What browser(s) are you using to download? What version of Windows are you running?
