cannot open pagefile.sys

    That is the message I get when I run my Anti Vir program

    I have run and am willing to post the reports from all of the other recommended programs on the previous sticky for malware removal.

    Also, I have a downloaded plugin that I cannot remove, called imikimi plugin_0.5.1.

    Not sure if this is related at all, but could use the help.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    This is not a problem. This is a protected operating system file and it is normal to see messages like this for these kind of files. There many other system files that you will get similar messages on.


    Is this something you installed? If so just uninstall it if you do not want it. This is not malware. You should either post in our Software Forum or post at their forum http://forum.imikimi.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl
