    Hello,

I followed your guidelines but I still cannot remove two things (that I know of).

    1) Keeps creating wshost32.exe and mcdrive32.exe processes which disable my internet connection.

    2) Keeps creating some random number .exe processes.
    Some examples from my SASlog: 167.EXE, 329.EXE, 684.EXE, 928.EXE

I currently have Avira AntiVir, Spybot, Spyware Blaster and Malwarebytes AM. I hope they do not interfere with each other. Is there anything that I missed?

    Thank you in advance.

Why am I not seeing any AV program installed on this system? You need to download and install one now. Then run a scan after updating it!

It appears that you may not have accepted the license agreement for TrendMicro HijackThis when you ran MGtools. Did you see this license agreement popup? Did you click the Accept button twice?

    What is this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Dragos\Desktop\abba.exe --> if you don't know, delete it.

Also use windows explorer to find and delete:
    C:\dll32b.exe

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator) and be sure to make the HJT agreement.

    Then attach the below logs:

    * C:\MGlogs.zip

    Thank you for the reply.

I didn't press the accept button twice, sorry, the second window hid behind the cmd prompt and I just assumed it was ok since it continued.

This time I wasn't asked to accept anything but I can see a hijackthis.log in the archive.

Your logs are clean. I see you have already removed ComboFix from your system, so you can ignore that part of the final cleanup procedures.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no real-time protection. They are useful as backup scanners. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures in step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore ato create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
