Not sure if this is a Malware issue or not -
I cannot connect to search engines Google, Yahoo, Bing - they will not load.
I can connect to the Internet and can do what I need to as long as I click a link or use a favorite.
This PC is wired to my router, the other 3 computers in my household are connected wireless and have no issues at all.
I just recently tried another "Tech Support" forum and they could not help. Ran all kinds of scans & checks without any success.

    XP Pro w/SP3
    AVG

Ok, I am currently in your "Read & Run Me First" section Step #6 Windows XP Malware Removal/Cleaning Procedure .
When I click on any of the download tool links: RogueKiller, Malwarebytes, TDSSKiller, Hitman Pro, or MG Tools - all I get is a Major Geeks blank green screen that never loads anything else. Of course IE opens up a new tab when a link is clicked - this new tab is the blank green screen.
Should I just go to each specific website to download the tool?

You may need to use a different computer to download and transfer the tools.

Ok, I followed your directions and things seem to be working ok. I can now search using Bing, Google, Yahoo, etc....
It appears that TDS Killer detected a WIN.32.

I have not toggle Restore yet.
The only issue I have now is Microsoft Outlook is not receiving mail - outgoing mail is ok. I'm not sure if this is related to my original problem, it could be coincidental.

    Thank you very much

    You are welcome.

Probably coincidental. Could you attach the TDSSKiller log?

    As you requested.
BTW, I ran the Outlook Inbox Repair Tool successfully

Are you having any additional issues? Or is everything running OK?

Everything seems to be fine. I didn't realize how slow my PC was running - now it's working like a champ.
    Were my logs ok?

    Thanks again

    Your logs were clean.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. You can uninstall RogueKiller and HitManPro.
    2. Go back to step 4 of the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista or Win 7, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link
Malware removal from a National Chain = $149
Malware removal from MajorGeeks = $0
