cannot sign in with windows live id

since my 10/18 Windows Automatic Update, I haven't been able to access many websites - namely Microsoft based - including Zune, Qwest.msn.com - (my ISP); I believe all 3 (2 xp, 1 vista) of my computer on my home network (running through 2wire modem/router) got hit with the Vundo trojan; ran all of the read-me steps to remove spy and malwares and downloaded all prgrams - still not fixed. I've read a number of posts on the web with similar problem. Also, my windows live id's for all accounts are not working... any thoughts? confused
