   Tried numerous attempts. Typing in Run: "ComboFix /u", "combofix /u", "combofix /uninstall", "ComboFix /Uninstall". Also attempted to go through cmd -> "cd Desktop" -> "Combofix /u" and the above conitations.. in cmd and nothing works, it just runs the program instead.
   
   Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

   It all depends on where you put the ComboFix.exe file. It has to be able to be found inorder to uninstall it. And recently the uninstall option was changed from /u to /uninstall
   
   If ComboFix.exe is on YOUR Desktop then the below should work
   
   Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
   
   "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
