Cannot update drivers for nVidia GT630 GPU

The latest driver I have for this card is 9.18.13.697. I have attempted to clean install new drivers from nVidia itself. When the drivers are install, my system reverts to onboard graphics and does not recognize my GPU. I have read a few of the threads, and it seem my card may be faulty. But drivers shouldn't cause the GPU to not be recognized, should it?

Any help would be great...
