Canon iP4300 Driver Install Issue?

    My Canon iP4300 is connected to my Upstairs computer via USB. On my laptop, connected to the network wirelessly, i select the printer via add a printer wizard. Everything is fine until it installs the driver. Right before it finishes copying the files, I get the following error message: Printer driver error. Operation could not be completed.

    I have searched through countless threads/webpages but to no avail. Please help me!
